Our clients are a very reputable firm of Independent Financial Advisers based near Andover, Hampshire. They are looking for an Administrator to join their long established and extremely busy company. They are highly regarded by their clients who depend on them for high quality personalised financial advice.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Be organised, analytical and happy to learn whilst performing the role
  • Have the ability to interact with the two Director/Advisers and clients in a professional manner
  • Be flexible and have an adaptable approach to work
  • Be well organised and prioritise workload
  • Have good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Have a sound knowledge and experience in using computers and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Hold a clean Driving Licence and have their own transport

The job responsibilities:

  • Undertake general administration and work-related procedures as required to support the Director/Advisers
  • Working with attention to detail, accuracy and in line with company procedures are essential elements of the role
  • Arrange and prepare client files for adviser meetings
  • Liaise with advisers regarding progress on client files
  • Be proactive in updating and maintaining client records on back office systems
  • Draft recommendation reports from template documents and other data
  • Liaise with product providers and other relevant third parties
  • Participate in relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

The role offers a starting salary of £16k - £18k depending on experience and suitability, is full time based on a typical working week of Monday – Friday, 9 – 5 (flexibility will be considered). There is also a generous personal pension scheme and higher than statutory holiday allowance. The salary is expected to increase upon a successful completion of the probation period and subject to the candidate passing work related exams.

The ideal candidate will have some previous financial services knowledge, but our clients are willing to train the right person. Career progression is available. Sense of humour essential!
